Summary: As of 1997 collection consists of records of the New Mexico Oil Conservation Commission (1936-1974). Includes annual and statistical reports, administrative correspondence, and proration schedules. Collection also contains materials from the Interstate Oil Compact Commission (1938-1967), including pamphlets, bulletins, directories, special reports, indexes to publications, and issues of the newsletter "Compact Comments" (1954-1967). Annual reports of the New Mexico Oil and Gas Accounting Commission (1962-1963), and one annual report of the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association (1940) are also in this collection.
